Aruba Hi-Winds

Aruba has pretty constant wind throughout the year of 20 miles per hour. This naturally sets a perfect stage for windsurfing activities. The popular sports are windsurfing and kite surfing. Other sports also practiced in Aruba are wakeboarding, body boarding and surfing. On the north coast there are some areas where surfers are more active as there are some good waves out there.

Aforementioned scenario sets up the stage of Aruba Hi-Winds. This is a windsurfing competition organized right here in Aruba which hosts competitors from all over the world. This event has been held for over two decades now and it very popular among windsurfing aficionados. This event is from July 2nd to July 7th and it takes place at Fisherman’s Hut, which is just north of Marriott.
