Frequently Aruba receives visits from foreign military vessels. Sometimes they come to town for assignment and sometimes for some rest and recreation.

I’m not aware as to why or how long they will be in Aruba on this particular voyage, however, I’ve learned that this Coast Guard vessel is going to be in town for a couple of days.

The US Coast Guard coordinates its activities in the Caribbean Sea closely with US Navy, Royal Navy and Royal Netherlands Navy, including the Coast Guard of Netherlands Antilles and Aruba.
