Update Coming Arashi Beach

Mid-December 2008, Renovations at Beaches, such as Baby Beach

For the last couple months renovation and beautification of several has beaches has been ongoing. With special funds from the European Union, Arashi Beach, Baby Beach and Mangel Halto have received special care.

Most of the work is well past mid-way point and some beaches are ready re-open to the public. Actually the beaches we’re never close, just the surrounding areas, such as parking and other general areas.

With funds from the EU officials could reconstruct the surroundings of the beaches in such a way that the integrity of the beaches are preserved against massive usage and pollution. Next week I’ll post an update about Arashi Beach, with new pictures, where reconstruction is almost over.
