Tropical Storm Felix Current Distance To Aruba

Tropical storm Felix seems to be gaining more strength as the day progresses. According to the latest data released by the National Hurricane Center in Miami the storm is about 340 miles east off Aruba. Above picture shows the current distance between Felix and Aruba using the coordinates provided by the Hurricane Center and Google Earth. Felix seems to be heading more towards the north-west rather than the west. Them again I’m no meteorologist.

The storm has gained more speed and force. Felix is traveling with a speed of 18 mph and the maximum winds have reaches speeds up to 70 mph.

If this storm bring lot’s of rain I will go out the next day or the day after to check up on the condition of the beaches in Aruba, that’s what this site is about.
