latest insider info on beaches, resorts, timeshares, condos & real estate
The year 2007 was an interesting inaugural year for arubabeaches.net. There were several posts that caught the attention, especially those regarding the weather, more specifically about the unusual threat of hurricanes Felix and Dean.
Content that caught the attention as well, where about condos. This relatively new form of tourism-real estate is up and coming and it is expected to further expand in 2008. I’ll be on top of it with a critical, analytical eye.
Another section of arubabeaches.net which was popular in 2007 was the fresh pictures I posted regularly. I’ve got a simple point-and-shoot Canon digital camera, which I intend to exchange for a better Nikon SLR. Additionally I’m planning on taking some sporadic classes to become a better photographer.
For 2008 I’ve got some changes in the pipeline. I’m planning to reduce the posting frequency from five a week, to four. I believe it’ll give me more time to write longer quality posts and make better analyses. Additionally I’m adding more static content in the section of “Beach Guides” as a general reference. I also want to add short videos in this section for every beach. Naturally guides from other beaches are coming as well.
The most searched topic on this site is regarding the latest developments of condominium construction in Aruba. I want to enhance the information giving process on this topic by giving more specialized information, perhaps on a separate website, later this year.
There are other ventures I’m pursuing in 2008. It’s going to be a very busy year for sure. To busy perhaps? You know what? I’m headed to the beach to think about it.
This website covers the beaches, resorts, timeshares, condos and other tourism related topics in Aruba. Read more »

Hey Gabriel,
I’m an Aruban native living in Holland and I just had to say that I find your site and comments verry informative. It’s nice to keep in touch with the developments in Aruba and your site gives me that chance. Keep up the good work.

Hi Anthony, thank you for the kind words. It’s nice to hear from a fellow Aruban abroad.
I have lived for quite some time in the Netherlands as well and always thought there wasn’t a site like this available. Instead of complaining about that, I started one myself.
I try to look at things from an analytical and critical point of view in order to get a more balanced opinion. Thanks again Anthony.
