Renovations ongoing at The Aruban Resort
For over a year now The Aruban Resort has been going through a rigorous renovation, both internally and externally. The renovations are mostly cosmetically, as there isn’t much structural change visible. Be that as it may, nevertheless, it was much needed.
After KL Holding, and other partners, took over the property work started immediately to transform the resort, the restaurant (which now is a casino) and the old casino. That is well over a year ago. In November 2007 I wrote a post with photographs of the new, much better looking, interior. More picture after the jump.
Currently, the renovations seem to be taking a bit longer than it should and I can’t help but think that perhaps something is the matter. Some sources have indicated to me that currently there are some internal issues ongoing, however I haven’t confirmed anything independently, therefore I won’t speculate. Meanwhile, below are some more fresh pictures of the external renovation.
