Spring is here, the weather in North Eastern US is getting better which means Off Season 2010 is upon us. This is good news for some of you out there, especially the ones hunting for hot deals. This is also the perfect opportunity to quickly look back and preview the coming season.

Just as quick that the winter passed, summer is fast approaching as well. This is the time when families with young children travel to Aruba. Sadly they will have to do without one attraction: Morgan’s Island water park. It shut down recently. Luckily this island has much more to offer. Another big group of travelers coming during the summer season are honeymooners. Every year this is becoming a more important business in Aruba. This is why more and more resorts are hiring in-house wedding experts.

The cruise ship season is also coming to an end. This past season appeared to have been a soft season. I still haven’t seen the figures, but preliminary numbers suggest a drop in passengers. A major blow is going to be leaving of Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas. This is one of the biggest and more lucrative ships which stop in Aruba. The good news is that Carnival Cruises has announced its return to Aruba with year around calls.
