Do you want a great deal on a room in Aruba? Come a visit us in September. You have high-season and low-season, but September is no-season. It is the least busy period of the year. Many resorts choose to start renovations during this period coincidently.

Not all resorts renovate in September. During this time you can find good deals at many renown resorts for less than a US$ 800,- a week. Check it out.

To elaborate on the title, Marriott is upgrading their product, the main building and rooms. That building dates back from the beginning of the 90′s. Marriott built timeshare-properties Marriott Ocean Club and more recently Marriott Surf Club but the main building hasn’t had a renovation in years.

Perhaps they’re following the trend set by other resorts, like Hyatt that renovated for $20 million. Marriott is renovating for $40 million. All of Marriott’s 413 rooms are going to be upgraded, in-house restaurant La Vista is being expanded and renovated and Italian restaurant Tuscany is going to be transformed into Ruth’s Steakhouse.

I’m sure after these upgrades the room-prices are going to be hiked for the next high-season.
