Marriott’s timeshare business is called Marriott Vacation Club. It owns some of the hottest timeshare resorts in the world. Many of them right here in the Caribbean and Hawaii. In Aruba Marriott has invested millions of dollars in construction of timeshare units. The latest timeshare project to be built in Aruba is Marriott’s Surf Club.
This marine-themed resort features the latest amenities you can expect from the modern timeshare resort. There is a very popular lazy river which I highly recommend. There are other activities as well, such as salsa dancing or parasailing for example. You don’t have to worry about food & beverage either as there is an abundance of both.
There is a downside to this resort as well. At times it can get very crowded, especially the piece of beach real estate which Marriott has to work with is scarce. This timeshare resort is considered top of the line, therefore the prices are above average. Nevertheless it is very popular indeed. Global timeshare reseller, Sell My Timeshare NOW, published a HOT 100 Timeshare list, where Marriott’s Surf Club finishes 4th worldwide.
