Marines climb down Westin

Monday a group of Dutch Marines climbed down the Westin Resort as an exercise assignment. That’s not something they do very often though. They hold exercise assignment throughout the island during the year. When holding shooting exercises they sometimes use blank bullets and leave empty shells everywhere. Pick ‘em up guys.

On Aruba there is a marine base with a few 100 military and civilian personnel. Base users are Royal Netherlands Marines, Royal Netherlands Navy and Coast Guard of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba.

They do a terrific job, keep it up. It sure looks spectacular.
