Looking For Guest Writers

I’ve been working hard for the last 3 years on this project. However, late last year I was so busy with other ventures that I couldn’t update this site until last month. It was sitting idle for almost half a year! I don’t want this to happen again. There aren’t many sites like this dedicated to Aruba travel, that’s why I feel it has an added value for travelers and others.
As I’m trying to shift the direction of this site from news to more opinions, tips and suggestions, I would also like to add an additional – perhaps more difficult – angle: humor. Here’s where I hope you come in.
If you are a fellow local, an Aruba travel veteran/enthusiast or a student with something to share about Aruba travel – including funny anecdotes – then this is for you. I would like to reach out especially to veteran Aruba travelers and maybe give first-timers some insights.
Specifically I’m looking for people who can write a simple story, that adds value to the readers. Think about practical tips/suggestions, things that would make the lives of travelers a little bit better.
It goes without saying that I don’t have any sort of budget for writers, so all I can offer is a byline with link and credit you for the writing. Plus, you might feel good inside. Who knows, something can start from there.
Guideline for Guest Writers
- Only own, original, content is allowed (no duplicates).
- No (self-)promotional material.
- Articles approximately 200 to 250 words long.
- The article will be edited/corrected when necessary.
- Articles with suggestions or constructive criticism are welcome. Complaints and personal vendettas are not.
- Upon approval I’ll ask you for a short bio, photograph/avatar/logo to include in your byline.
All entries are approved by me personally. Interested? Send an email to gabriel@arubabeaches.net, in the subject line you put “Guest Writer”.
