Latest News Update On Hurricane Felix From Aruba

The latest news about hurricane Felix is that it seems that the hurricane is going to pass just north of Aruba. The hurricane has maintained its speed at 18 mph to the west and force of 75 mph, which is still a category 1 hurricane. The tropical storm watch is still in effect.

The government of the Netherlands Antilles has issued a hurricane watch at this hour. I’m not sure if the Aruba government has followed suit. The advisory of The National Hurricane Center in Miami still has a tropical storm watch for the ABC-islands.

The hurricane is at a distance of about 200 miles east of Aruba. At this late hour it is still dry outside, so actually nothing is going on at this point.
