It’s Raining On The Island

The weather today has been unstable for a good part of the day now. It’s been raining lightly in the afternoon. Actually during the end of the week the weather has been acting up. Wednesday and Thursday felt hotter and extra humid then normal and to make matters worse the wind has not been its usual self at 20 mph.

At the moment the wind is still not blowing normally, as a result clouds will be passing by very slowly. There has been so little wind the last couple of days for example that the regatta around the island of Bonaire (close neighbor) has been stopped midway and an international body boarding competition scheduled for next week at Wariruri Beach here in Aruba has been canceled.

According the local weather service there is a tropical wave (not to be confused with tropical storm) somewhere in the region which is responsible for current unstable weather.

In all honestly I don’t mind current weather at all. It’s nice to have a fresh day for once. Meanwhile looking outside I’m seeing the sky clearing, do you know what that means? Sun.
