Thursday morning it was raining, again. Thus far, for the better part of the week it’s been rainy, autumn-like almost. Naturally this bring obvious inconvenience to visitors, I guess you have to make the most of it at this point.
A major problem with the rain is the wind direction and speed. Normal trade winds function as a cooling device on a regular sunny day, and guarantees short rainy periods. This past week it hasn’t been like that. Periods of prolonged rainfall were predominant.
Tips
What to do if you get caught in a week full of precipitation? There are many things you could do actually. You go into your room watch TV and lament the about the rain or you could make the best of it. If you have great attitude and aren’t bothered by bad weather, following are a few suggestions:
- Go swimming, the pool or beach are empty
- Get an indoor spa treatment
- Take a bus tour, better yet, take a rainy safari, it’s fun
- Go on a snorkeling catamaran
- Hit a bar
- Visit a indoor restaurant
- Go dancing
- Go bowling
- For youngsters, visit the game room
- Play racquetball
- Rent a car, go explore
- Go gambling in a casino
Just make the best of it, that’s my most important tip.
