Hurricane Felix is moving away from Aruba according to data provided by the hurricane center this morning. After a few heavy rain showers, it has been pretty calm on the ground. The wind has strangely enough not been a major factor at this point in time. Maybe later this will pick up.

There has been some reports of minor floods in certain parts of the capital, damages to buildings and infrastructure seems to be minimal. Later today I will post some pictures of the beaches.
