Hurricane Dean And Aruba

08/18/2007 | hurricanes

Hurricane Dean is gearing towards Jamaica in the next few hours, passing hundreds of miles north of Aruba.

The effect this hurricane is having to Aruba is minor, only the waves on the northern side of the island are huge. Actually it’s so big that it remembers 2004 when hurricane Ivan passed about one hundred miles north of Aruba. Other minor effects are the occasional rain showers today.

Again, these waves are huge, believe me. To bad I didn’t bring my camera today, I could have shot amazing pictures.

Good luck to the islands and our fellow Caribbeaners, hang in there.
