Four Days Of Autumn

It’s a strange (and slightly exaggerated) title to describe the weather on the island, fact of the matter is that for the last four days Aruba’s weather has been unusual the least.

Plain rain wouldn’t be considered unusual, however the combination of overcast, lack of trade winds with the consequently hotter climate and wind direction change are considered unusual.

The sea by the northern part of Aruba was calm while the beaches in the west and south were wavy and unclear. For people that don’t know, the common situation is the complete opposite.

The culprit for the out-of-whack weather is a tropical wave that formed in the eastern Caribbean earlier this week which became yesterday a tropical storm headed for Cuba. Around the time of this post, early Sunday afternoon, it’s still overcast, little breeze and no rain.
