Second phase Divi Phoenix current status of construction

Divi Resorts is an international leisure company based in Aruba with properties in Aruba, Barbados, Bonaire, St. Croix and St. Maarten. On Aruba Divi has several type of resorts like timeshare units, a golf resort and all-inclusive resorts.

Divi Resorts is growing and in Aruba they are expanding existing properties Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort and Divi Phoenix Aruba Beach Resort. Please note that Divi Resorts has added the word ‘Divi’ to all their properties and this confuses because the only word people seems to remember is ‘Divi’.

To elaborate on the construction, the second phase of Divi Phoenix is supposed to be wrapped up by the end of 2007. At this point the contours of the buildings are becoming visible. The steel framing is up and the shape and size are clearly visible.

“The new development will add 148 luxury suites to the existing 101 units at the resort. The new suites will be housed in four eight-storey buildings, each featuring studios, one bedroom suites, and two and three bedroom penthouses,” according to Divi Resorts.

I think we must thank Divi for taken over this project back in the 90’s when other investors failed and couldn’t finish it and left it abandoned which became a sore in that area for years.
