Busy Last Weekend of the Year
American Airlines departing Aruba
Last weekend Aruba experienced a very busy long weekend. The arrivals were almost double as high as a normal weekend.
Many people are here – I’m guessing – on a last minute deal. I also noticed that the biggest flights on Saturday were Canadian. I even saw flights with more than 250 people per airplane from Toronto. Also flights from New York, Newark, Philadelphia and Charlotte were full. Delta’s additional nightly flight on Saturday from Atlanta was packed as well.
If you are wondering what kind of weather they found here, was unstable weather. I rained once in a while. Nothing major, but still worth mentioning. The coming days it will remain unstable, mostly sunny however.
