BBQ In Aruba
The last two posts where very long a deep so this one is not. Plus it took me a lot of time to write them and try to get as many mistakes out of them as possible. Remember that English is not my first language.
I love BBQ and you cannot come to Aruba and don’t have a BBQ. The weather calls for BBQ. If you’re staying at a resort or rented a house somewhere, most of them have a BBQ-pit on the premises. If you are planning on having a BBQ at the beach, remember to read my post on BBQ-rules On Aruba Beaches.
The best BBQ meat in Aruba is available at IGA Ling & Sons Super Center grocery store. Their ribs are awesome. IGA is located a few minutes away from the resorts.
If you don’t want to cook I recommend a local BBQ place called BBQ Boss (open every day except Monday) located in the district Paradera. From the main roads around the hotel area from the first traffic circle (roundabout) you drive east and after passing three traffic circles BBQ Boss is located at the fourth.
If you don’t want to go far from your hotel, I recommend Smokey Joe’s on the board walk in Palm Beach, it’s my second favorite BBQ joint. Smokey Joe’s is actually more a restaurant and carry a more complete menu. And there is always Tony Roma’s in front of Holiday Inn.
