Las Islas Condominium Aruba
Las Islas Palm Beach Condominiums Aruba

In the series about condos in Aruba, we present the next one: Las Islas Palm Beach Condominiums Aruba.

Construction of this condo project has yet to start in the area of Palm Beach. The exact location of Las Islas Aruba project is on Aruba’s only 4 lane main road, near the traffic lights of Palm Beach, close to the high rise resort area. Neighboring structures are Hostaria Da’ Vittorio Italian restaurant, McDonald’s, Aqua Grill fish restaurant, Amazonia meat restaurant and Setar phone company outlet.

According to the developer, Las Islas project is a 4 storey building and consists out of 20 units, has a pool and spa. The architects are presumably from Venezuela, while the developers are locals. I haven’t found a unit price, but judging from scale of the project, which is small, and the amenities they want to offer, plus the location, size of the units, expect prices to start around US$300,000.

I haven’t taken a picture of the project yet as there isn’t any major activity visible. As soon something happens I’ll write an update. For more information visit the project page.

I am a Canadian seriously contemplating buying a townhouse in the Gold Coast Development. What do you think?

Hi there Julie, Gold Coast has grown to be one of the premier master planned communities in Aruba. As I have toured most projects on the island, this one really stands out.

Not only the design, location, building material, which are all top class, it is also going to feature amenities one can expect at a luxury project. From what I understand they want to be ahead of the class by way of using alternative energy when possible. Additionally they offer a rental program for when the property is not in use by the owner.

I don’t want to sound too much as a “fan-boy” of this project, as I pride myself to be independent and am uncharacteristically bullish on Gold Goast, but when something is good I’ve got to admit it as well.
